Free Verse Sock
We use a high quality 3-ply 80% Superwash Wool/20% Nylon base yarn for our hand dyed fingering weight sock yarn. The nylon gives the yarn a bit of extra strength, wonderful for socks.
We dye with Jacquard acid dyes which are both colorfast and lightfast. Each skein is individually dyed by me. No two skeins are exactly alike, each skein is unique.
Each skein is approximately 400 yards/110 grams, enough for a pair of adult socks, a scarf, gloves, whatever your heart desires! But please remember to check yardage requirements on your patterns, of course.
While this yarn is machine washable, hand washing is always highly recommended, either way wash in cold and lay flat to dry. Recommended needle size- US#1-3 needles.
